This piece was made after a period of research, to accompany a sculpture, and a poem, and the theme for all the works was the Rain Forest. I had never seen a tropical rain forest, but I read and watched as much as I could, and then began to work on my impressions of one.

Almost all of the sounds are sampled percussion sounds from one of my friends' extensive percussion collection. I tried to give a sense of calm, yet with something menacing withinÉ perhaps nature herself, or the intervention of humans…
