BATH SPA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
Two 0.75 fte Lecturers in Creative Music Technology

Salary: £14,902 - £24,842 pro rata

These are two new posts created as a result of substantial
growth in Creative Music Technology at Bath Spa University
College. The successful candidates will be expected to deliver
advanced level modules, contribute to research activity, enrich
industrial relationships and participate in course administration
and forward planning.

Applicants should possess a good honours degree in a relevant
discipline, successful experience of recent teaching within this
subject area at HE level and a track record of high quality
achievement within the creative industries. Demonstrable
expertise in some of the following areas is essential: digital
audio workstations (Digidesign's Pro Tools in particular), music
and new media (e.g. composing for games software or sound
design within virtual realities), Internet audio technologies,
software synthesis and processing, multimedia authoring
software and sonic art. A higher degree and a developing
research record would be an advantage.

The School of Music's facilities are first rate, set in a campus of
outstanding beauty near the World Heritage City of Bath. Both
posts are permanent with effect from 1st September 2000.
