Sonic Picnic
The Sunday afternoon of the festival will be given over to an outdoor picnic event at Western King Point overlooking Plymouth Sound and Barn Pool, the anchorage from which Charles Darwin set sail on the Beagle in 1831.
We are seeking installations and performances suitable for this outdoor event. The site features a variety of disused military installations including abandoned gun emplacements (it was the site of the Western King Battery) and a disused reservoir basin. Performances will take place in two look out bunkers facing the bay.
